Railway Marathon and Half Marathon

Looking for a fast, certified race with a great chance for a PR?  This event is for you! All proceeds from this event will go to Unless U!

Starting at Black Creek Park in Fultondale, AL, this marathon & half marathon will be held on the Five Mile Creek Greenway, a rails-to-trail project located 15 minutes north of Birmingham. Runners will race through the Cities of Fultondale, Gardendale, and Brookside on this flat, fast course.

The event will be USATF certified (Boston Qualifier), chip timed and fast, fast, fast.

Join us on Saturday, February 7, 2026 to possibly set your new PR.  If not you will still be supporting Unless U!

Packet Pick up - The Trak Shak from 12 - 4pm on Friday, February 6, 2026 - 2839 18th St S, Birmingham, AL 35209. There will be a limited pack up time for those unable to pick up on Saturday @ 6:30am at the race by the finish line.  We highly encourage you to pick up your packet on Friday if possible. 

Medals - All finishers of the 50K, Marathon & Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & 1 Mile will receive a custom finisher medal at the finish line.

The cut-off time for all events is 6 hours.  This cut-off time includes the 50K.
